About Me!

Nicola portraitAs a child I always wanted to become a physiotherapist, but after learning to scuba dive at the age of 16 I was captivated by the underwater world and decided to study Marine Biology at university.  After receiving my degree I spent 10 years working in the conservation sector for inspiring organisations such as the RSPB and Kent Wildlife Trust.

When I became pregnant with my first child I decided that I wanted to retrain, and having experienced the wonders of reflexology during pregnancy I knew I had found something that I was passionate about and wanted to throw myself into. It felt like a very natural step and I was pleased to be able to study and work in an area that falls into a similar vein as physiotherapy, both of which are about helping people achieve health and wellbeing by manipulation of the physical body.

I love what I do now and can't wait to hear how clients feel after each treatment. I enjoy researching new topics, so that I can bring more to my practice and help clients get the most out of their sessions. That way they can really feel the impacts in their daily lives. After a client has received a course of treatments it is wonderful to look back at their progress with them and see how things have changed and developed for them. It is a very rewarding career and I always look forward to learning more through meeting new clients and attending different courses and seminars.

I hold a Level 3 Diploma (with distinction) in Reflexology from Essential Reflexology Training, Kent. I also have a post-graduate certificate in Pre-conception, Pregnancy and Postnatal Care from the London School of Reflexology.

I am a fully insured member of the Association of Reflexologists.
